About The Position

Bristol Health is seeking a dynamic, business-minded Occupational Health Services Manager to lead daily operations at our specialized MedWorks facility. This critical leadership role requires a strong clinical background (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse) to merge hands-on case management with active business development. The manager will drive the growth and profitability of our occupational health services by actively onboarding new corporate clients, managing the program budget, and serving as the primary liaison for workers' compensation insurance carriers. The successful candidate will ensure seamless new-hire screenings for our employer partners, facilitate proactive workplace ergonomic strategies, and act as a tight liaison with Human Resources to support medical accommodations.

Requirements

  • Clinical Licensure: Active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Connecticut.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of medical office management or clinical leadership experience, with a heavy focus on occupational medicine, workers' compensation case management, and carrier relations.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with OSHA reporting, DOT drug testing standards, and Connecticut workers' compensation regulations.
  • Proven business development or B2B sales background.
  • Strong proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and data-driven budget management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with corporate clients and insurance carriers.
