The Occupational Health Nurse is an integral member of the site EHS Team whose primary responsibility is to manage the site Occupational Health duties and associated programs. In addition, the position will provide subject matter expertise and advanced leadership for successful development, implementation, and maintenance of a high-performing Occupational Health system for the assigned sites. The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for the Occupational Health and Medical monitoring program; work-related injury treatment and occupational return-to-work case management. Occupational Health nursing is the specialty practice that provides for and delivers health and medical services to employees and distinct service groups within the company. The focus of this position is on the treatment of work-related illness and injury, and protection from occupational hazards. This position will make independent nursing judgments for the purpose of effectively managing workplace injuries, maintaining medical records, providing appropriate medical emergency response leadership, interfacing with Workers Compensation administrators, and partnering with EHS functions to promote reduction of EHS risk for employees.
