About The Position

The Occupational Health Manager is a part-time leadership role supporting a large, global, multi-site manufacturinganization. This position provides strategic oversight, program management, and operational leadership for occupational health activities across multiple sites, working in close collaboration with a highly skilled team of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professionals, occupational health clinicians, and corporate medical leadership. The role emphasizes program governance, consistency,pliance, and performance improvement rather than routine direct clinical care, although strong occupational health experience and sound clinical judgment are essential. Work Schedule Part-time position with flexible hours based onanizational needs. Remote or hybrid work arrangement, with periodic travel or site engagement as required.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in occupational health, employee health, industrial health, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or leading occupational health programs in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and occupational health program fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, globalanization.
  • Excellentmunication,anizational, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license, active and in good standing.
  • Experience working closely with EHS teams in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Experience with Occupational Health Software (UL/OHS/OHM) platforms for case management, medical surveillance, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with global or multi-country occupational health operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management-level oversight of occupational health programs across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with corporate occupational health standards.
  • Guide and support site-level occupational health activities, including injury and illness management, medical surveillance, fitness-for-duty, and regulatory programs.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for occupational health matters for EHS, HR, and medical leadership.
  • Supportpliance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA and other relevant regional or country-specific requirements.
  • Oversee occupational health documentation, recordkeeping, and audit readiness.
  • Identifypliance gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Provide management oversight for work-related injury and illness cases.
  • Partner with HR, EHS, and medical providers to support return-to-work, job amodation, and fitness-for-duty decisions.
  • Escalateplex clinical or regulatory issues to corporate medical leadership as appropriate.
  • Oversee occupational health metrics, dashboards, and reporting across sites.
  • Use data to identify trends and inform leadership decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of global occupational health standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with EHS leaders, occupational health nurses, physicians, industrial hygiene professionals, and HR partners.
  • Participate in regional or global meetings and initiatives related to worker health and risk reduction.
