About The Position

Wilson Health is seeking a direct hire Occupational Health - LPN/Certified Medical Assistant for our location in the Troy, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area. This role is crucial in providing occupational health services that benefit both employers and employees by reducing absenteeism and turnover, increasing productivity and morale, and decreasing sickness and injuries. The department offers a range of services including Drug & Alcohol Testing, Education Sessions, Employee Assistance Program, Hearing Conservation Program, Physical Examinations, Wilson Onsite Wellness, and Worksite Health & Injury Management. The Occupational Health Registered Nurse is responsible to maintain their professional skills and continue to advance their level of expertise in the field of Occupational Health & Safety and case management to provide professional health service to clients in accordance with company specific and statutory regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant or LPN diploma

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience working in the medical field as a medical assistant or LPN preferred
• Occupational Health experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians and anticipate duties that need to be performed.
• Strive to make physician as efficient and effective as possible.
• Greet patients and assist patients to examination rooms.
• Obtains and accurately records vital signs, medical concerns, current medication, and allergies.
• Educates patients/family members on topics related to the patient's medical conditions and care with guidelines established by the physician.
