About The Position

The Occupational Health Case Manager Clinic Nurse is responsible for providing a variety of nursing duties as well as serving as case manager. These duties include coordinating, performing, and assisting with post-offer physicals or assessments, counsels and assists employees exposed to diseases, provides injury assessment, determines appropriate level of care, completes occupational health screening and surveillance services, and provides case management services. Case management services encompass injury reporting, referral coordination, and collaboration with the Workers' Compensation TPA, OSF Workers’ Compensation and other OSF departments, leadership, and healthcare providers to ensure Mission Partners receive appropriate care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining OSHA logs for regional hospitals, recording OSHA log entries for injuries/illnesses of Mission Partners in all other business units in the region, submitting data to OSHA annually, reporting critical incidents to OSHA as required, and completing the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) surveys. Position will cover Ottawa and Streator employee health as well as possible travel to other locations in the I-80 market as needed for employee health services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of clinical RN experience
  • RN-Registered Nurse license
  • CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of workers' compensation
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, CDC, ADA guidelines and requirements
  • CCM, CM (Case Management Certification)
