About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Wayne County, Missouri, and surrounding communities. This role involves performing residential occupancy verifications, which are brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. The position offers autonomy, allowing contractors to manage their own routing, schedule, and territory. Inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5–6 minutes on-site. Contractors will enjoy stable, month-to-month volume in their assigned county. This is a 1099 position with flat-rate pay per inspection, with earning potential equivalent to $25–$35 per hour for efficient contractors. The territory covers a spacious rural county with longer drives between stops, requiring a fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads. Wayne County averages approximately 5 inspections per month.

Requirements

Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
