About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Macon County, Georgia, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on your own schedule. The opportunity involves performing residential occupancy verifications, which are brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. Inspectors will benefit from autonomy in managing their own routing, schedule, and territory, efficiency with standard inspections designed for speed (typically 5-6 minutes on-site), and consistency with stable, month-to-month volume in their assigned county. This role requires spending extended periods driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in a spacious rural county with longer drives between stops.

Requirements

• Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
• Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.

Responsibilities
