Requirements

  • Knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC and HUD
  • Must have knowledge of HUD/Public Housing/Tax Credit policies and procedures
  • Detail oriented and the ability to operate on a deadline driven schedule
  • Possess strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • 2-4 years leasing experience

Responsibilities

  • Process certifications (including initial, interim, and annual); calculate retroactive rent while conforming to all applicable guidelines.
  • Collect necessary documentation from current or prospective residents, and process verifications.
  • Apply correct rents for annual and interim recertification; adjust to remain compliant.
  • Prepare rent repayment agreements and explain rent calculations to residents according to HUD guidelines.
  • Review EIV reports and resolve discrepancies.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while efficiently managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-Sufficient and Adaptable: Complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision, thriving in a busy, high-volume environment.
  • Effective Time Management: Prioritize and manage time to consistently meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
