WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS AN OCCUPANCY AND RECERTIFICATION SPECIALIST Utilize your organizational skills and experience to provide the preeminent affordable housing accommodations in your community. Through your daily interactions with prospective and current residents, you’ll create a welcoming experience and sense of community. Process certifications (including initial, interim, and annual); calculate retroactive rent while conforming to all applicable guidelines. Collect necessary documentation from current or prospective residents, and process verifications. Apply correct rents for annual and interim recertification; adjust to remain compliant. Prepare rent repayment agreements and explain rent calculations to residents according to HUD guidelines. Review EIV reports and resolve discrepancies. Organized and Detail-Oriented: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while efficiently managing multiple projects and deadlines. Self-Sufficient and Adaptable: Complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision, thriving in a busy, high-volume environment. Effective Time Management: Prioritize and manage time to consistently meet deadlines and exceed expectations. Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
