About The Position

A lovely family near Springdale Estates seeks an occasional babysitter for their 4-month-old for an immediate start. Backup care is needed 1-3 times per month on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays from 3 PM to 9 PM. The baby loves talking and story time. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family’s requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. There are two cats and a medium-sized dog, all are friendly. The dog will be put away during care hours – no pet care required. The ideal candidate will be flexible, dependable, and confident caring for a young infant. This is a long-term position with intermittent care needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid, professional infant care experience
• CPR certified, or willing to become certified
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
• Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
• Valid driver's license or passport for verification purposes
• Comfortable with friendly cats and dogs
