Obstetrics Technician - Labor and Delivery
About The Position
This position is for an OB Scrub Tech in the Labor and Delivery unit at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. The role is Full-Time and involves 12-hour Night shifts. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the OB Technician assists RNs in patient care. Responsibilities include providing infant baths, setting up for and scrubbing Cesarean Sections, setting up for vaginal deliveries and other procedures, restocking rooms and carts, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The role also includes secretarial functions such as acting as a receptionist, computer order and data entry, and assembling patient charts. Requirements
- Coursework/Training competency in scrubbing
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
