About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for an Obstetrics & Gynecology specialist in Livingston, TN. The role involves inpatient service, specifically for call coverage. The coverage period is from December 24, 2026, to December 28, 2026. This is a call-only position with a 24-hour beeper call schedule, requiring a 15-20 minute response time. The physician will handle approximately 2-4 phone consults and see 2-4 patients. The facility averages 400 annual deliveries and admits 1-2 patients. Rounding is included for assigned patients. The department has 6 beds and is supported by 2 RNs and 1 office staff. Required procedures include managing low-risk pregnancies, routine vaginal deliveries, and complicated C-sections. The EMR system used is Medhost. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

• Licensed in TN or IMLC
• BC/BE
• PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage.
• Respond to calls within 15-20 minutes.
• Handle 2-4 phone consults.
• See 2-4 patients.
• Manage low-risk pregnancies.
• Perform routine vaginal deliveries.
