About The Position

The University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join an established and thriving practice in Easton, Maryland. This is a full-scope OBGYN practice offering a mix of obstetrics, gynecology, and GYN surgery. The position includes blocked OR time, access to state-of-the-art surgical suites, and a collaborative team of experienced healthcare professionals. Physicians can expect to see an average of 18-22 patients per day, with strong support to focus on quality care. The role offers autonomy within a respected, community-focused hospital system and involves working in a beautiful, modern clinical setting within a multispecialty medical office.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Strong clinical and surgical skills
Possess a Medical degree, completion of medical residency.
Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required or ability to acquire an unrestricted license.
Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required.

Responsibilities

Perform a mix of obstetrics, gynecology, and GYN surgery.
Utilize blocked OR time and state-of-the-art surgical suites.
Collaborate with a team of experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, sonographers, MAs, and RNs.
Manage an average of 18-22 patients per day.
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to women across all stages of life.
Maintain current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
Maintain current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.
Obtain and maintain appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
Meet minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
