About The Position

St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our dedicated women's health team. As a vital part of our multidisciplinary healthcare program, you will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, making a meaningful impact on our patient population. Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered empathetic communication skills
  • Adherence to Standard Precautions and utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with robotic surgery or advanced surgical techniques is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population.
  • Perform deliveries and manage prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care.
  • Conduct gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures utilizing the Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgery System.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and primary care physicians.
  • Provide patient education and counseling, ensuring patients and families understand their health and treatment options.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
  • Stay current with emerging treatments and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Engage in community outreach and education programs to promote women's health.
