About The Position

Endeavor Health’s Women’s Service Line is expanding its OB Hospitalist program and seeking a motivated and team-oriented Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist. This role involves providing leadership and oversight for the unit, supervising clinical care for unassigned patients in labor and delivery, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based obstetric care. The position offers opportunities to shape a cutting-edge OB Hospitalist program with an Obstetric Emergency Department in a dynamic and supportive environment. Physicians will collaborate with nurses, staff, and other OB/GYN colleagues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school and successful completion of OBGYN Residency required.
• Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.
• Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or Fellowship trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and oversight for all activities on the unit, working in collaboration with nurses and staff to effectively deploy resources and manage patients.
• Supervise all clinical care for unassigned patients in labor & delivery, including cesarean sections, spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, antenatal and postpartum care.
• Deliver high quality evidence based obstetric care.
• Work collaboratively with all other OB/GYN colleagues, MFMs, CNMs nurses and staff.
• Work with service line leaders toward continuous improvement by participating in and leading quality improvement initiatives, helping educate staff, and guiding patient safety and satisfaction.
