Requirements

Experience with Splunk
Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position

Responsibilities

Engineer, configure, and optimize Splunk components (indexers, search heads, forwarders, deployment servers, etc.) to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across all environments
Partner with application, security, and operations teams to design and implement searches, dashboards, reports, and alerts that provide actionable insights and support incident response.
Design and implement data onboarding for new sources, including inputs, parsing, field extractions, data models, and normalization to ensure data quality and consistency
Analyze and troubleshoot existing data pipelines to confirm data is being collected, parsed correctly, and providing value, while tracking and optimizing data volume to manage Splunk license consumption
Monitor and maintain the health of the observability infrastructure, implementing automation where possible for deployment, configuration management, and routine maintenance
