About The Position

HealthPlus Staffing is seeking an OBGYN for a position in Redwood City, CA. This role involves 3-4 clinic days per week with 1-2 call shifts per week (from home), totaling 4-6 calls per month. After the hospitalist program launch, a minimum of 48 shifts of restricted in-house call coverage will be required annually. The call schedule is 1:6, shared with internal docs, community docs, and an outside OB Hospitalist. A hospitalist will always be present. The EMR system used is Cerner. Patient load is typically 15-20, with a slow ramp-up period for new providers. The position offers a base salary of $375-400K, plus a productivity bonus. Support staff includes a full-scope OBGYN NP, General Surgery, and CT Surgery. Credentialing can take up to 90 days, but faster starts are possible for those with a CA license.

Requirements

  • BC or BE in FM or IM
  • New grads welcome (excluding 2027 grads)
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a CA license for faster credentialing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide OBGYN care in a clinic setting 3-4 days per week.
  • Participate in call shifts, including 1-2 calls per week from home (4-6 per month).
  • Provide restricted in-house call coverage (minimum 48 shifts annually) after the hospitalist program launch.
  • Collaborate with NP, General Surgery, and CT Surgery support staff.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation.
