About The Position

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking an OB/GYN physician in Sylvania, Ohio. This position involves clinic work 2-3 days per week and operating room duties 2-3 days per month, with a 1:9 (24 hour) call rotation that includes weekends and holidays. Call coverage requires being within a 30-minute drive to the Labor & Delivery unit. The team consists of six Physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), seeing approximately 30-35 patients per day, with 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient responsibilities. PPG focuses on preventive care and patient education across a wide range of medical specialties, helping individuals maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions. Physicians utilize the latest medical knowledge and collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized, effective care at every stage of life. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Ohio.
• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Clinic 2-3 days/week
• Operating room 2-3 days/month
• 1:9 (24 hour) Call Rotation (Including weekends/holidays)
• Call coverage includes in-house and Call-in from home
• Must be within a 30 minute drive to L&D unit
• See 30-35 patients/day
• 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient
