About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for their Obgyn clinic located in the Breckenridge Lane area. This is a full-time, first-shift position eligible for a $2500 Sign-On Bonus, reserved for new hires meeting eligibility criteria. The role involves coordinating healthcare services to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, establishing and maintaining standards of care in Ultrasound sciences, and exercising professional judgment. The technician will ensure appropriate patient care management, adjust daily operations to meet changing work environments, and be involved with staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs. For positions involving Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians, nuchal translucency certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment. The technician will proficiently perform various studies including Biophysical Profile, Complete Obstetric Ultrasound, Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, Multiple Gestation Ultrasound, Transvaginal (cervical length) Ultrasound, and Pelvic Ultrasound.

Requirements

High School Diploma required.
Holds current credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
Three (3) years of experience in scanning OB-GYN procedures.
Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
Registry eligible from an OB-GYN Ultrasound program (Certificate or Degree).

Nice To Haves

Associate degree from an OB-GYN Ultrasound program preferred.
Nuchal translucency certification preferred (or obtained within the first year of employment) if position involves work with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians.
