OBGYN Specialist Physician (MD/DO) – 0.5 FTE

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Current (or eligible for) Washington State physician license.
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges within four (4) months of hire.
- Current ACLS certification (or ability to obtain as required).
- Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or precepting residents or medical students.
- Experience performing 100 or more Cesarean section deliveries.
- Experience providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services.
- Manage high-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients with a focus on improving maternal and infant health outcomes.
- Perform Cesarean deliveries and other obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures consistent with granted privileges.
- Interpret and perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and care teams to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Participate in inpatient rounding and scheduled call responsibilities.
- Serve as a mentor and educator for Family Medicine residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers through our Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, peer review activities, and the ongoing advancement of patient care.
