About The Position

We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Elko, NV. This role involves providing comprehensive GYN and OB clinical care in an outpatient setting. The physician will perform prenatal care, see patients in clinic 3-4 days per week, and maintain accurate patient records using the MEDHOST EMR system. Collaboration with a support staff of RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, and office staff is essential to ensure quality patient outcomes. Coverage is needed on an ongoing basis, with specific dates in June and July 2025. The role includes both clinical duties and call responsibilities.

Board Eligible
Licensed in NV or IMLC
ABLS certification

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive GYN and OB clinical care.
Perform prenatal care for patients.
See patients in a clinic setting 3 to 4 days per week.
Maintain accurate patient records within the MEDHOST EMR system.
Collaborate with support staff including RNs, MAs, and PA/NPs to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Manage low risk and high risk pregnancies.
Perform OB Ultrasounds (Performance of, interpretation).
Handle routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for C-section.
Manage complicated deliveries such as C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions.
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
Perform operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's.
Provide care during both inpatient admissions and rounding.
