About The Position

Geisinger, one of the premier tertiary medical systems on the east coast, serving the northeast and central Pennsylvania regions, is recruiting an OBGYN Generalist to join the team at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This role offers a balance of obstetrics and gynecology, with clinic every other business day (approximately 11 days/month). The position includes five days of on-call per month with 24-hour shifts, plus a recovery day following call. Midwives are available 12 hours per day to support the team. The facility averages 2,000 deliveries per year and is supported by a level III NICU. Geisinger Medical Center (GCMC) has been part of the Geisinger family since 2012 and provides high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents throughout Lackawanna County and northeastern Pennsylvania. GCMC has the only Level II trauma center and electronic intensive care unit in Lackawanna County.
