About The Position

We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Cincinnati, OH. This is an inpatient role covering clinical duties only, with an ASAP start and ongoing coverage. The physician will work 12-hour shifts, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, to supplement existing staff. The patient demographics include OBGYN patients with an average daily volume of 0-6. The case mix involves OB and GYN cases, including admissions and rounding. The facility utilizes the Epic (Stork) EMR system. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available on a case-by-case basis. The credentialing timeline is approximately 4 months. The physician will be responsible for vaginal deliveries, C-sections, emergent gynecologic surgeries, gynecologic ED coverage, rounding, and discharges.

Requirements

• Board Certified (BC)
• OH or IMLC License
• Active DEA
• ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient and ED obstetric/gynecologic patients
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Provide emergency gynecologic consultations and surgeries
• Round on all patients daily and coordinate discharges
• Collaborate with midwives and residents for patient care
