About The Position

Medical Associates Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our OBGYN team in an outpatient clinic setting. In-department services include ultrasound, HSGs, colposcopies, leeps, cervical biopsies, IUD procedures, and Nexplanon. This is a clinic-only position focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered women’s health services in collaboration with our OBGYN physicians and experienced clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for a provider who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and providing comprehensive care throughout their lifespan.

Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife certification
• Graduate of an accredited NP, PA, or CNM program
• Current state of Iowa licensure or eligibility for licensure

Nice To Haves

• Previous OBGYN or women's health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and educate patients across a broad range of women's health needs
• Provide preventive and routine gynecologic care
• Participate in contraceptive counseling and management
• Provide preconception, prenatal and postpartum care as appropriate to training and experience
• Perform procedures within scope of practice, training and clinical competency
• Establish meaningful, long-term relationships with patients
