About The Position
This role is for an OBGYN Medical Assistant at the 117th Street Clinic in Wauwatosa, WI. The position is full-time, day shift, and involves assisting physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties. Responsibilities include interviewing patients to record medical history and vital signs, preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms, and managing clerical tasks such as phone correspondence and record maintenance.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
- Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
