About The Position
The OB Technician - Labor & Delivery is a full-time position on the night shift at TriHealth McCullough Hyde Hospital. This role involves providing support in the Labor & Delivery unit, working closely with team members to ensure patient needs are met. The position requires adherence to hospital policies and quality initiatives, with a focus on maintaining a safe environment and professional communication.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Previous OB Tech experience strongly preferred
- Previous L&D experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicates professionally with team members/customers related to patient care situations
- Demonstrates competent performance for the position and knowledge of the unit through understanding of policies/ unit goals/ organizational goals.
- Maintains a safe environment for self, patients, team members
- Participates in unit based quality initiatives
- Pursues educational opportunities related to field of expertise thru internal and external training opportunities
- Works closely with team members to assure that needs of the unit/patient/customers are met
