About The Position

CHX Munson is seeking a competent and experienced OB nurse for the LDRP department. The RN must have relevant experience in labor and delivery, triage, and emergent c-sections, as well as postpartum care. The RN must be able to care for low-risk pregnant mothers and stabilize preterm and high-risk patients for transfer. The RN must be comfortable working independently in a level 1 nursery to care for well-born neonates 35 weeks and older. The RN must be able to quickly stabilize sick newborns with the support of an interdisciplinary team (peds call, RN, supervisor, respiratory therapy) and prepare for transfer to higher level care. This is a critical access hospital.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in labor and delivery
• Relevant experience in triage
• Relevant experience in emergent c-sections
• Relevant experience in postpartum care
• MI RN License
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Intermediate FHM (AWHONN, Inteleos) certification
• STABLE certification

Responsibilities
