Hoag is set to open a new $1.3 billion, state-of-the-art hospital campus in Irvine, CA further expanding our regional footprint and clinical capabilities. This will include a 17-bed Level III, NICU allowing mothers and babies needing specialized care to stay together in one location and not have to be transferred to another hospital. Hoag’s comprehensive clinical team is trained to manage the most complex maternal and newborn conditions. Requirements

Must have an active and unrestricted California State Medical License.
Board-eligible, American Board Certified in OB/GYN
Proficient in EMR Systems (EPIC).
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Hoag Hospital.

Nice To Haves

Fellowship in OB/GYN is a plus.
Experience as an OB Laborist/OB Hospitalist is preferred.
A passion for providing excellent clinical care and excellent communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative/ team-oriented environment are a must.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team: Anesthesiologists, Maternal Fetal Medicine Seasoned and dedicated RN's and support staff
Participating in clinical education for other medical staff
Establishing care protocols for labor and delivery programs
Working on research projects as needed
