About The Position
Seeking an OB Hospitalist for a Locum Tenens position in Toledo, OH. This is an inpatient role providing supplemental coverage for a 24-hour shift with in-house call. The coverage period is from July 26 to August 10, 2026, with specific dates outlined. The department has 10 beds and is a Level IV Trauma center. The OB Hospitalist will work alongside residents and nursing staff, with an OBGYN physician in practice. The case mix is 80% high-risk OB and 20% low-risk OB. Lab and Ultrasound are available onsite.
Requirements
- Active OH License
- BC
- BLS, ACLS
- NPDB report
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Low/high risk pregnancy management and FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB ultrasounds including Level I/viability and Level II/anatomic screening
- Routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, forceps, C section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
- Surgical gynecology including open, laparoscopic minor, and major operative procedures such as tubal ligation, LOA, chromal tubation, ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, and cystectomy
- Office/minor gynecology including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, colposcopy, and LEEP
