About The Position

This is a plug-and-play opportunity for an OB/GYN who thrives working on a collaborative team within a high-volume PRN pool backed by the elite resources of Ascension St. Vincent. It is an employed PRN position with malpractice coverage and multiple shift options. The role offers access to Level III Maternity and NICU facilities and in-house OB-specific anesthesiology. The physician will partner closely with a highly integrated nursing team and four distinct OB groups to optimize delivery and triage workflows. Responsibilities include leading emergency GYN surgical interventions, managing high-acuity cases including ectopics and ovarian torsions with full specialty support, and managing all triage arrivals and ER consults to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Physicians who are able and willing to float between Carmel, Fishers, Anderson, and Kokomo.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

Pick up shifts on a cadence that works for you. 12 and 24-hour shifts are available based on your preference and our operational needs.
Lead emergency GYN surgical interventions, managing high-acuity cases including ectopics and ovarian torsions with full specialty support.
Drive unit efficiency by managing all triage arrivals and ER consults, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
