Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing with RN degree
• Five (5) years of experience in Ob office, Labor and Delivery, or equivalent
• Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working.
• CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020, are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements.
• Team members must be certification eligible and will have one (1) year to obtain required certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs Ob work-ups - first visit after + pregnancy test - what to expect during pregnancy
• Receives and returns all phone calls related to and from ob patients
• Calls in prescriptions for ob patients per physician orders
• Reviews all ob labs, involving physicians when abnormal
• Pre-certs all deliveries
• Performs pre-natal blood work for health assessment
• Coordinates ob charts with Labor and Delivery before due date
• Performs other duties as assigned.
