About The Position

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking an OB/GYN in Sylvania, Ohio. This position involves clinic work 2-3 days per week and operating room duties 2-3 days per month. The role includes a 1:9 (24 hour) call rotation, which encompasses weekends and holidays, with call coverage requiring a 30-minute drive to the Labor & Delivery unit. The team consists of six Physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), managing approximately 30-35 patients per day. The role is 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient. PPG focuses on preventive care and patient education across a wide range of medical specialties, helping individuals maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions. Physicians utilize the latest medical knowledge and collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized, effective care at every stage of life. Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
