About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist. This position, under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for assisting in the nursing care and surgical services in the maternity services area including the provision of patient care necessary for comfort, hygiene, data collection, and documentation. Activities are based on accepted standards of operating room and obstetrical practice and are performed within the scope of education, training, and experience.

Requirements

LPN diploma or Associates degree - Surgical Technologist (required)
Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Surgical Technologist (required)
1 year of experience as a LPN or Surgical Technologist (required)

Nice To Haves

Experience assisting with OB/GYN procedures (preferred)

Responsibilities

Assisting in the nursing care and surgical services in the maternity services area
