About The Position

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Hickory, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. Experienced physicians and residents are encouraged to apply! The practice is a large group that consists of 7 Physicians working as OB/GYNs and 1 Gynecologist. In addition, the practice has a large support staff of 4 nurse practitioners and 3 certified nurse midwives. This well-established practice has been serving the Hickory Area for almost 50 years and has built up a solid reputation for excellent patient care. Deliveries are performed at Catawba Valley Medical Center which the large health system in the area. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established practice with a large physician and staff team in a small-town environment that allows for an excellent work/life balance.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
Experience in both OB and GYN procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with robotics for specialized GYN surgeries.
Interest in partnership opportunities.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive women’s healthcare including a large range of Gynecological and Obstetrics services.
Perform deliveries and surgical procedures at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Conduct several deliveries and major GYN surgeries every month.
Focus on patient care and staff growth.
Provide mentorship to physicians coming out of residency.
