About The Position

Join an established OB/GYN practice in a vibrant growing community connected with the west side of Oklahoma City. Located off I-40 just a short 16 miles from downtown Oklahoma City, INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital includes 57 private medical surgical rooms as well as a medical office building (and a 2nd pending). The hospital has a 19-bed women's unit, 8-bed ICU, 4 general surgery rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, and a 15-bed outpatient procedure unit. The 18-bed emergency department is a Level III facility, the highest in western Oklahoma. Requirements

Oklahoma MD or DO license
BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible to attain Medical Staff privileges at INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital

Responsibilities

Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
The Physician is responsible for patients.
The Physician provides direct patient care.
Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
