About The Position

OakLeaf Clinics – OB/GYN is currently seeking a full-time Physician to join our dedicated obstetrics and gynecology practice committed to comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care for women at every stage of life. We provide a supportive, collaborative environment where providers are encouraged to build strong patient relationships with patient-centered care. This position will require collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, midwives, and other medical support staff.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in relevant specialty
  • Board certification or board eligibility in applicable specialty
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in the State of Wisconsin
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association, if applicable
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association, if applicable
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation systems
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and decision-making
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
  • Knowledge of disease prevention

Responsibilities

  • Stay current with the latest evidence-based medical practices and clinical guidelines
  • Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations
  • Diagnose illnesses and conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with best practices and regulations
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients and families
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other clinical staff as applicable
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of all patient interactions
  • Respond to and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
  • Effectively communicate with diverse populations, including patients, families, physicians, and staff
  • Inpatient and outpatient obstetrical care, if applicable
  • Inpatient and outpatient gynecological care, if applicable
  • Participate in assigned physician call rotations, if applicable
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
