OB/GYN/Pediatric Registered Nurse - Goodyear
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in this position will assist patients and their families navigate the healthcare system by serving as a health educator and patient advocate. They will collaborate with patients to establish preventive and self-management goals for improved health. This role may also involve providing triage services for patients seeking urgent care, offering medical advice, and determining the appropriateness of outpatient services versus escalation to a higher level of care. This position is integral to Adelante's team-based primary care medical home model, which promotes coordinated, patient-centered, and comprehensive healthcare for all.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Licensed with AZ State Board of nursing; license in good standing
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques used in record-keeping systems
- Demonstrated ability in implementing the principles and practices of supervision
- Advanced computer efficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience in Patient Management System
- Meet the organization immunization requirement
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a clinical setting
- Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations
