About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking an OB/GYN MD for an outpatient facility in Merced, CA. This is a full-scope OB/GYN position, requiring providers to be proficient in both obstetrics and gynecology procedures. The role is for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and involves seeing approximately 24 patients per day, with the potential to see up to 29 if there are significant no-shows. The assignment is for 60 days with the possibility of extension, starting on 5/26/2026. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with administrative time included. A 3-week patient ramp-up period is expected, with the full patient panel not being seen until at least three weeks into the job. The patient population is primarily Spanish and Filipino speaking, with interpreter services available. The provider will be supported by 1.5 Medical Assistants, with one being a float. There may be a need to switch between additional OB/GYN sites if absolutely necessary.

Requirements

• Active CA license
• Board Certified (BC) or truly Board Eligible (BE) in OB/GYN
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in both OB and GYN procedures
• Comfortable working in an outpatient FQHC setting

• Experience with Epic EMR system
