Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology).
• Active Kentucky license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage for OB/GYN services.
• Perform routine deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps deliveries.
• Make decision-making calls for C-sections and handle complicated deliveries such as breech and multiple births.
• Conduct VBAC procedures and repair 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations.
• Deliver care to a range of adult patients in an inpatient setting.
