About The Position

We are seeking an OB/GYN Medical Assistant for our practice in Athens. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent customer service skills. Previous experience as a medical assistant is preferred, and EMR experience is strongly preferred, with NextGen being a plus. A Registered or Certified MA with OB/GYN experience is preferred. This is a mature candidate position.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and taking back patients
• Obtaining weight, blood pressures, and heart tones
• Answering phone calls
• Ordering and recording labs
• Scheduling surgeries and mammograms
• Handling referrals
• Performing triage phone work
