About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled OBGYN Laborist to provide PRN coverage at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph, delivering high-quality inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care within a collaborative health system network. The role involves providing dedicated inpatient OBGYN Laborist coverage and triage evaluation, managing labor and delivery and unassigned deliveries. The practice setting is inpatient/hospitalist coverage, requiring close collaboration with on-site nursing staff, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and neonatology teams. The position offers flexible PRN scheduling with shift-based coverage. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN and eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. The role also includes leading collaborative efforts to continuously improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of care delivered, contributing to system-wide excellence, and cultivating positive clinical outcomes by providing immediate, high-quality patient care during shifts.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN
Must be eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
