About The Position

MercyOne Genesis is seeking an experienced BC/BE OB/GYN to join its OB/GYN Hospitalist service in Silvis, IL. This is a full-time employed opportunity with 7 24-hour in-house shifts per month, offering a flexible schedule with part-time and PRN opportunities also available. The role involves providing care for OB & GYN emergencies in the ER and labor & delivery, caring for unassigned patients, and managing transfers from smaller hospitals in the region. The position also includes providing after-hours call for the OB/GYN practice and utilizing a dedicated surgical suite with robotic access. The facility handles approximately 600 births per year and has a Level II Nursery with 16 LDRP rooms.

Requirements

MD or DO
BE/BC in OB/GYN
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates welcome to apply)
