About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking an ABOG board-certified or board-eligible Ob/Gyn physician for a temporary per diem position covering 24-hour in-hospital Ob/Gyn hospitalist call for 6 months. This role has no clinic responsibilities or in-basket duties and does not require the physician to live in the surrounding area. The position involves a collaborative practice with Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn physicians. The position offers hotel, travel, and meals for the 6-month duration, with potential for contract renewal and/or permanent placement after one year.
Requirements
- Active California medical license
- ABOG board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Completion of Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
Responsibilities
- Manage patients on Labor & Delivery and in the OB Emergency Room (triage)
- See obstetric and gynecologic consults from the hospital and emergency room
- Perform obstetrical and gynecologic emergency surgeries
- Manage antepartum and postpartum services
