About The Position
The equipment operator is responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse. This role involves operating various types of equipment to ensure efficient product handling, organization, and preparation for shipment.
Requirements
- Education equivalent to four years of high school
- Experience operating a Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit Down Forklift, and an Electric Pallet Jack
Responsibilities
- Drives reach truck to assigned location to pull product
- Delivers product to designated area in overstock, to be replenished or shipped
- Records the movement of product location
- Stacks and moves empty pallets and wire baskets to correct destination
- Locates all received product to a forward picking bin or designated overstock location
- Ensures all carries receive the correct paperwork
- Operates wrap machine to secure pallets prior to shipment
- Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area
