About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced home health RN who enjoys chart review, quality improvement, and collaborating with clinicians—all while working remotely. Join our growing team as a Remote RN OASIS Reviewer and play a critical role in ensuring accurate OASIS documentation, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state, as applicable).
• Current driver's license.
• Minimum one (1) year of Home Health nursing experience required.
• Thorough understanding of Medicare Home Health regulations and OASIS guidelines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote clinical team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous OASIS review, QA, or Quality Improvement experience strongly preferred.
• Homecare Homebase experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure clinical documentation supports OASIS responses and the plan of care.
• Verify timely completion and submission of OASIS assessments.
• Identify documentation deficiencies and communicate recommendations to clinicians.
• Collaborate with coding, QA, and clinical leadership to improve documentation quality.
• Provide education and guidance on OASIS best practices.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation and agency policies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and documentation consistency across branches.
