About The Position

The Oasis Operator role is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations. This includes packaging, cleaning, material handling, quality checks, shipping activities, housekeeping, and providing team relief coverage. The role primarily operates in the production area and is crucial for maintaining production flow, material quality, plant cleanliness, and ensuring on-time shipment of finished goods. The Oasis Operator supports plant operations by responding to various operational needs throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must show proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Must have strong internal and external customer service skills
  • Must work well in team environment
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have to ability to do intermediate mathematical calculations
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and plant policies at all times

Nice To Haves

  • 1 – 3 years manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily trailer requirements with the Warehouse Coordinator based on the production schedule
  • Reclaim off-quality fiber and refeed material back to the formers according to process standards
  • Inspect finished product to ensure quality meets specifications
  • Ensure proper forming and stretch-wrapping of finished goods
  • Perform material handling activities, including operating a forklift and loading/unloading trucks
  • Ship materials using SAP and verify shipping documentation accuracy
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in assigned areas, including sweeping floors, blowing down lines, and cleaning common areas
  • Assist with preventative maintenance activities as assigned
  • Complete special tasks or assignments as determined by plant leadership
  • Participate in plant safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement programs
  • Provide break relief coverage for team members as needed
  • Provides coverage for team members and attends required meetings outside of normal scheduled days as needed
