Requirements

  • Four year degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Must meet company insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Connect Students to Career Opportunities: Provide engaging employability and career-readiness training that prepares students for full-time employment, higher education, and advanced training.
  • Coordinate the Center's Work-Based Learning (WBL) program, ensuring students participate in valuable on- and off-Center training experiences.
  • Help students develop the workplace skills, professionalism, and confidence employers value.
  • Mentor & Empower Students: Build positive, supportive mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment.
  • Provide individualized employability and career counseling.
  • Monitor student progress regarding students' strengths, areas for growth, and workplace performance.
  • Identify barriers that may prevent student success and help develop solutions.
  • Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards required by the program.
  • Support Student Success: Monitor student participation and performance in WBL assignments.
  • Maintain accurate student records and electronic career plans (ePCDP).
  • Help ensure the Center meets or exceeds Department of Labor and company performance goals.
  • Provide timely, accurate information and documentation when requested.
  • Provide Hands-On Support: Provide transportation and other support services necessary for students to successfully participate in WBL opportunities.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, professional environment while holding students accountable for their responsibilities and behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with staff across departments to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Lead With Purpose: Recognize challenges, evaluate solutions, and take appropriate action to resolve problems.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, employers, and community partners.
  • Organize and prioritize responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Continuously develop the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality student services.
  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity, accuracy, accountability, and professionalism.
