About The Position

The O&M Technician will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned equipment and systems to support safe, reliable operations. This role involves performing various types of maintenance, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The technician will also respond to operational issues, communicate effectively with the team, and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, use hand and power tools safely, follow written procedures, and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and maintain a strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in operations, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, solar, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with relevant technical training may be considered.
• OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid, electrical safety, solar O&M, or other technical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned equipment and systems to support safe, reliable operations.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in accordance with established procedures.
• Take equipment readings, verify system performance, and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company compliance requirements, including proper use of PPE.
• Respond to operational issues or emergencies and assist senior technicians as directed.
• Communicate equipment status, maintenance needs, and operational concerns with supervisors and team members.
• Complete logs, service reports, maintenance records, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
