Requirements
- Degree in High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
- Experience or understanding of Operations and Personnel management (3–5 years).
- Knowledge of public or private sector transportation (3–5 years).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding that safety is paramount in all activities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Applications.
- Must possess a valid California State driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with rail transportation systems (desirable).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Optimize scalable maintenance strategies to ensure system-wide reliability and efficiency
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, and maintenance teams
- Implement robust processes to maximize uptime and minimize service disruptions
- Champion continuous improvement and introduce innovative technologies in maintenance practices
- Promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members for skill development
