About The Position

Adapture Renewables, Inc. is seeking a talented O&M Manager to join their Asset Management team. This role is crucial in managing the technical operations of a growing portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects across the United States, optimizing fleet performance. The position reports to the Director of O&M Services and is part of the O&M team within Asset Management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar, with utility-scale experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in solar installation/construction and O&M.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with strings/modules, inverters, combiner boxes, feeder lines, racking hardware, tracker motors, actuators, bearings, controllers, sensors, and basic DAS components.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office software, managing network directories/folders, and using GUI applications and web-based software (e.g., PowerFactors, Radian Lens, Salesforce).
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with limited guidance for core O&M management responsibilities.
  • Some travel periodically required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor utility-scale projects and issue work orders to O&M contractors for efficient and timely repairs.
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers for warranty support and issue resolution.
  • Provide O&M assessment and feedback on future project designs.
  • Coordinate procurement of parts and services for maintenance.
  • Manage spare parts inventories and identify deficiencies.
  • Share lessons learned with Project Management, Engineering/EPC, and Quality & Performance teams.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting support to field technicians.
  • Support third parties (O&M providers, subcontractors) in resolving complex issues.
  • Track issues to resolution, documenting fiscal impact in work orders.
  • Monitor site production, overseeing the monitoring team to ensure accurate issue identification and work order queuing.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of annual operating budgets.
  • Issue work orders to service providers with specific scopes of work.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical operating reports and performance assessments.
  • Provide remote monitoring and troubleshooting for tracker issues.
  • Identify and resolve sensor issues affecting performance data.
  • Manage contractors for vegetation management (regular and special habitat requirements), ISO connectivity issues, and site maintenance (fencing, gates, security, roads, erosion, tree trimming, etc.).
  • Support the commissioning and onboarding of new projects.
